Start of the CowParade
It all started in the begin of 1998 in Zurich, the cowparade, the moving art gallery of actual life size cows mad of fiber glass created by artists from all around the world, and now it is one of the biggest charitable projects in the world! After the parade in Zurich, the decision was mad to have a cowparade in different cities all around the world, first the parade made its American debut in Chicag, Houston and New York. And after that it was Europes time with London, Brussels. And it moved around and around from Sydney to Tokyo, Vegas, Dublin, all the big cities had the cows in their streets! The cows are in the harts of many art loving people all around the world! After each parade the fiber cows are up for auction and the profit is for charity. But is is possible for everybody to have these art cows in their houses, the cows have been reproduces in ceramic and poyresion replica figurines. The cows are now a favorite collectors item by many collecters all around the globe. The figurines are all painted by hand. You get a small card with information on the cow with each item, it gives the name of the artist and the city where it appeared. The cowparade is even famous in art classes on schools all around the world, many teacher use the 'paint your own cow' idea for there classes !!
Cowparade collection
New items are added to the cowparade collection twice a year. There is a fall collection, announced in june, and a spring collection which is announced in March. Many collecters around the world can't wait till the new items are available to add to their beautifull collections! The cows are available in different size, small, medium and large, they are all beautifull replica's of the orginal cows from the parade.
